End of Summer

The only directorial effort of the celebrated Icelandic film music composer Jóhann Jóhannsson. A wordless meditation on the beauty of nature from places at the end of the world and beyond. A cello, harmonized with singing and field recordings acquired during his trip to Antarctica, intertwines throughout the post-production edited black and white Super 8mm footage.
