Elstree Story

This documentary, hosted by Richard Todd, explores the illustrious history of the Elstree studio. Anny Ondra's performances there in 1928 and 1929 will always be the most interesting for Czechs. The glamorous years of silent film, and the advent of sound all the way to the present day are presented clearly and so engagingly that I couldn't resist visiting Elstree. (11.10.2017)
