After a severe car accident, bike courier Helen is plagued by terrifying hallucinations and blackouts. Eventually an MRI reveals the reason for her visions: Before she was born, Helen absorbed her twin sister in the womb, and now because of the accident, her twin’s consciousness has re-emerged. A solid horror film from Canada, one of the better ones this year. Let Her Out is more or less body horror, psychological drama and part ghost story, which is very refreshing and works well. The main character is attractive and likeable, I found the explanation of why the main character is doing what she is doing intelligently and logically delivered, the scene in the metro and the finale are very intense. There are less nastiness compared to Contracted and Bite, but even this form suited me. 70%

The American horror film Let Her Out is strong in that it manages to offer uncomfortable scenes that some viewers may turn away from. This, together with the atmosphere of uncertainty from the opening, creates quite a strong mix that will lure the viewer in and perhaps not let go until the end. The ending is not the film's strong point, but its progression is able to please. This film will please horror fans, but otherwise, it’s quite disgusting.
