Thanks to Riverdale and Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, the Archie comics phenomenon has come to the Czech Republic. No one would have ever believed that the never-ending story of high school friends would still be popular, even though its origins date back to 1939. That irresistible charm applies to every generation: there's Archie, the redhead, there's Betty, the blonde, and there's Ronnie, the brunette. That combination is enough to attract attention for 80 years. The Riverdale of today's generation is less comedic, more mysterious, and very theatrical, with an aesthetic often tending towards Tim Burton's films, and yet, or perhaps because of it, it is very attractive.
