De beste concertfilm aller tijden! Stop Making Sense brengt 'Talking Heads' terug naar het grote scherm. De film uit 1984 is gerestaureerd in 4K ter gelegenheid van de 40e verjaardag van de film. Het energieke en inmiddels legendarische concert, geregisseerd door Jonathan Demme, werd opgenomen in het Pantages Theater in Hollywood in december 1983 en bevat de meest memorabele nummers van 'Talking Heads' zoals 'Once in a Lifetime', 'Slippery People' en 'This Must be the Place'. Talking Heads is definitely not the type of band that I listen to, which is due to the fact that I basically didn't know them at all. Some of their songs, yes, but not the band itself. However, the documentary is so well made that even though the music didn't really appeal to me, I enjoyed watching the musicians. Some of the plays of light and shadow were also great.
