Ann, 23 jaar oud, heeft een bescheiden leventje met haar man en twee kinderen. Ze woont in een trailer in haar moeders tuin. Haar leven verandert drastisch wanneer ze haar dokter bezoekt. Hij deelt mee dat ze kanker heeft en nog maar twee maanden heeft te leven. Remarkable performances, a unique story and unsentimental execution in this not-so-subversive, almost touching film dealing with the last months of a young man's life through an intimate lens. There aren't really any downright climactic scenes, but it's a healthily balanced little intimate film that's very easy to miss on the shelf, as it doesn't scream out to the world with brutal advertising, big names, or a big budget, but it has great testimonial value with a kind of medium pacing. One of those films where I feel the book would be much better.
