I've been lucky lately with three Jean-Louis Trintignant films from 1969 to 1970. Even though I first heard about this actor in connection with the film "Amour", I finally realize what a legend he is. And it is precisely he who can bring this long conversational drama to life and give it an interesting charge. Otherwise, it would simply be a long chatter where even interesting ideas start to get lost.
