Based on a true story. In 2002, during the frenzy of the World Cup in South Korea, patrol battleship Chamsuri 357 prepares for its usual duties. When the southern nation is caught up in soccer fever, the North Korean Navy deploys several battleships of their own towards the Northern Limit Line, precipitating an unexpected and tragic conflict with Chamsuri 357. Engels The Koreans made a big war movie that tells the tragic events of the recent past, specifically the year 2002. It's exactly what you'd expect. Forcedly moving, excessively melodramatic, and honestly not as strong as the creators probably intended. In terms of filmmaking, the Koreans are at the top, but sometimes they resemble American creators a bit too much. ()
