Desire is dangerous, and this film manages to show it quite well in an interesting historical context. Plus, the Asian girls here are very pretty. It's not directly an erotic film, but it's not that far from it either. Perhaps there's a bit too much sex, and sometimes it feels a bit unnecessary, but who would mind that?
