Hwangjereul wihayeo

Quite disappointing. There's no shortage of action, but it didn't impress me much, not only is the editing bad, but the choreography is also lacking, which pretty much relegates this film to the level of classic American action B-movies. It's not the classic Korea with breathtaking visuals and excellent action scenes. But I found some good things here as well. The brutality is certainly enjoyable and the one good scene where a gang of guys break into a house and start cutting, slashing, stabbing with knives and blood splashes slowly on the screen with flashing lights, I liked this one but considering how long I waited for the film it deserves more of a scolding. A standard average, but perhaps worth a watch. 60% (06.10.2014)
