Dead of the Nite is just another found footage film that doesn't stand out at all, it follows the same lines as many other films of this kind. This is just too much. Horror directors will continue to argue that this subgenre makes sense because it's almost costless, including the effort to devise a story. This can be done on the fly. Anyway, most of the acting usually looks like improvisation.
