FilmDARKNESS churns up the film’s surface, subject to flashes of light in the dark night, from which objects emerge like fields of color flickering in a dark space. Fragments of concreteness reflect light and upset the film’s sensitive layer, which thus dispenses melancholy and softens the fall into the abyss of pitch-black darkness.
