Engels Probably the biggest attraction for me personally was Bruce Willis. It follows logically that I'm pretty disappointed he didn't get much space here. Moreover, he plays a cop who hardly ever leaves his office and investigates the whole case sitting at his desk. Otherwise, this is a classic action B-movie, which does nothing bore the viewer, although it does nothing to excite him or her either. (45%) ()

Engels Action movies are made every year, now maybe even more than ever, because "Expendables" made sure that the genre revived. But their strength is primarily in bringing great action actors together, they are able to revive their careers and prove that the old guard still has it. "Fire With Fire" just wants to be an action movie that doesn't bring anything significantly new, Bruce Willis has minimum space here, although he plays an "important" character. It's a shame that actors like him are not used for better scenes, but there's nothing to be done about it. He will make up for it in the next installment of the "Die Hard" series. "Fire With Fire" is a movie about how a heroic firefighter gets into trouble with the mob and has to fit his life into the witness protection program. Things eventually change a bit and he embarks on a journey of taking justice into his own hands. Actually, it doesn't make much sense, because if he wants to kill them all just because they almost killed his girl, that's nice, but it wasn't a relationship that had any depth or length. Furthermore, she didn't even die, she's waiting for him. In terms of the story, I feel like the screenwriter had a heart attack halfway through the script and they just improvised from there. The action scenes are not epic in any way, the film is quite small in that sense. Just because Bruce appears in one good scene doesn't mean that a person wants to watch such a movie for an hour and a half. Interesting actors who have nothing to offer. This is really sad. Similar movies kill the genre and actually cinema as a whole. They shouldn't make it to the theaters, but straight to video, preferably on VHS, so that not many people have access to it. The truth is, this is a problem of many movies, not just this one. More: http://www.filmovy-denik.cz/2013/01/tobruk-valcik-s-basirem-2-dny-v-new.html ()
