Rien à déclarer gaat over twee douanebeambten die begin jaren '90 te horen krijgen dat hun kleine douanepost op de grens tussen Courquain (Frankrijk) en Koorkin (België) zal verdwijnen. De Belg Ruben Vandevoorde (Benoît Poelvoorde), overijverig douanier én zelfverklaard francofoob, krijgt tot zijn afgrijzen te horen dat hij samen met de Franse Mathias Ducatel (Dany Boon) de binnenwegen in het grensgebied in de gaten moet gaan houden, op zoek naar drugkoeriers en andere smokkelaars. Wat Ruben echter niet weet is dat Mathias al een jaar een geheime relatie heeft met Ruben's zus Louise, en haar ten huwelijk heeft gevraagd. Mathias besluit zich volledig in te zetten voor de nieuwe douaneopdracht, om zo Ruben's goedkeuring te krijgen voor zijn liefde voor Louise. Maar is die liefde wel bestand tegen alle hilarische misverstanden die volgen? (Paradiso Films)
