Paul Hanganu en zijn vrouw Adriana zijn tien jaar getrouwd, ze hebben een dochter van acht, Mara. Maar Paul is al acht maanden verwikkeld in een affaire met de zevenentwintigjarige tandarts Raluca. Paul heeft moeite met het het verdelen van zijn tijd, hij wil Raluca aandacht geven, maar moet ook de kerstcadeautjes kopen. Hij besluit een controle afspraak te maken voor zijn dochter om Racula te kunnen zien. Adriana heeft onverwacht tijd en komt naar de praktijk. (Amstelfilm)

In simplicity there is strength. The captured bitter collapse of one marriage is devoid of any detours, quirks, or additions. The film focuses on the authenticity of the situation and precise psychological acting. In my eyes, it works, evoking exactly the emotions it wants to and should. There is nothing extra there, therefore nothing hinders or disturbs the viewing experience. Overall impression: 90%.
