A film that relies on captivating performances, where Jim Broadbent showcases his standard quality, but the main star here is Lesley Manville, who brilliantly portrayed the character she was given. She perfectly captured the development of her character in the span of two hours, with whom you will feel nostalgic and may or may not sympathize because she is not exactly a likable character.
