Everest – Juzek Psotka

When the audience wants to do something meaningful with their lives just so that they can someday become the subjects of a documentary like this, it is a proof that this documentary is extraordinary. The film is distinguished by a number of breathtaking archival shots, great dramaturgy and the monologues of the interviewees dripping with sincere humanity. You can feel the admiration and respect for the documentary’s subject from every minute of the film. This is probably Pavol Barabáš’s best documentary. (28.03.2010)
