Harry en Lloyd zijn twee ongelooflijk domme sukkels, die ontzettend veel moeite hebben om een baan vast te houden. Als Lloyd tijdens zijn korte carrière als limo-chauffeur Mary Swanson naar het vliegveld brengt, ziet hij dat ze haar koffertje vergeet en besluit deze naar haar toe te gaan brengen. Zonder dat hij het weet had Mary het koffertje bewust voor een stel ontvoerders achtergelaten en deze gaan achter Lloyd aan in de veronderstelling dat hij een slinkse crimineel is, die het geld voor hun neus heeft weggekaapt. Onbewust van de ontvoerders die achter hen aanzitten en ze willen vermoorden, gaan Harry en Lloyd op reis naar Aspen om Mary te zoeken. (RCV Film Distribution)

Something just doesn't get old, but it just tires you a bit. The movie has never seemed so dragged out to me before, but now I actually enjoyed there being some silent moments. However, that doesn't change the fact that there are great jokes and that the sequel is so stupid that it's simply enjoyable. Jim Carrey is absolutely fantastic and splendidly pretends, Jeff Daniels complements him dangerously well. Surprisingly, even the story is not badly constructed.

An incredible parade of stupidity and one of the few comedies that can withstand a proper dose of foul humour while retaining the gloss of a funny affair that entertains even repeatedly.
