Samenvattingen(1)

(European Film Partners)

Engels The plot of any film has not surprised me this much (and so many times) in a long time. I'm referring, of course, to the flurry of unfortunate coincidences... And also (so what if it’s absurd?) the removal of their consequences. The runtime was just right, it was nice and black, it managed to entertain me... I give it four stars. "But that's a lie, Pierce!"-"Shut up! It's the new truth." ()

Engels Unnecessarily restrained. The whole movie feels like a prelude to something bigger that's about to burst your diaphragm, but alas... This is how it reminded me a lot of Scandinavian comedies in terms of mood. Mark Doherty's boringly written character doesn't really help the result, but luckily there is Dylan Moran to break it all up again. ()
