Federico Guillermo, a child of 7 is playing on the floor of his house with his toys and his cat when Lía, his sister catches him and tells his mother. The mother scolds him for the mess he has made and for not wearing the orthopaedic shoes she has told him so many times to wear. Lía runs to get the shoes and brings them to her mother who, bad-temperedly forces them onto Federico´s feet. He tries to resist without success and decided to run away. Having said farewell to his cat with a kiss, he gives it to Lía who tells him “Tie-up your shoes or you will fall”. Federico runs along the street when –“crash”– he falls. He has fallen, in a tangle, into a hole which shows the pavement is made of cloth. In trying to extricate his foot from the strands of the hole, he finds that pulling on a given strand destroys a corresponding object in his world. An excited Federico begins to search for strand which will destroy his shoes. (Huesca International Film Festival)
