In THE 7TH DAWN, eight years have passed since World War II, and Ferris (William Holden), once an American mercenary, has taken up residence in the Malaysian jungle and emerged as a prosperous plantation owner. When Malaysia, now under British rule, is faced with a communist takeover, things start to go awry for the successful entrepreneur. His old war buddy, Ng (Tetsuro Tamba), shows up from Moscow on a mission to oversee the communist uprising, and when the Malaysian government links Ferris to Ng, they arrest his girlfriend, Dhana (Capucine). Caught between a rock and a hard place, Ferris must choose between protecting his old friend or freeing his captive lover. (officiële tekst van distribiteur)
