De 18-jarige Ian (Josh Zuckerman) heeft nog nooit seks gehad. Hij krijgt de kans van zijn leven wanneer een superbabe hem via internet seks belooft als hij naar Knoxville rijdt om haar te ontmoeten. Ian besluit op het aanbod in te gaan, steelt de auto van zijn broer Rex en begint samen met zijn vrienden Lance en Felicia aan de lange rit. Al snel blijkt dat de verhoudingen tussen de drie ingewikkeld zijn; Ian voelt eigenlijk iets voor Felicia, maar zij is op haar beurt weer verliefd op Lance. Met de fraaie 1969 Pontiac GTO van Rex maken de drie een hilarische road trip op weg naar Ian’s ontmaagding. (Independent Films)

It’s very predictable, but in many moments also damn truthful and above all outrageously entertaining. It’s a rather late burial of genre films developed long ago, which scores points with its sincerity, sensual curves, and wonderful music. And James Marsden unleashed to the max. The funniest film of winter 2008/09.

A great comedy from the days when Americans were still doing cool stuff. It's a bit like American Pie, and it's funny and crazy enough. I enjoyed the nudity, the decent wisecracks, the nice pacing, and James Marsden as an assassin. I had a good laugh. 8/10.

An enjoyable diversion that left me with stomach pain for two days. The talking donut idea was really brilliant! The story was totally stale and unimportant, but the performances of the actors and the lines were not bad. It was another long-awaited successful comedy, as it should be. Almost perfect, that's why I don't understand the rating here!
