À l'ombre du voile

Two muslim women, a mother and her daughter, go to a demonstration against the prohibition of the port of the veil at school. Back home the mother invites her daughter to remove this veil through a distraught and disturbing dance. In a sober aesthetics, with rough and impulsive graphics, the choreography is a call to the essential fight for equality and freedom. (Les Films du Nord)
