Tarachime

Moviemaker Naomi Kawase films her aged 90 year old grandmother as they discuss the weight of age, life, the meaning of happiness... Kawase's camera accompanies the old lady until she is taken to the hospital where she will die shortly afterwards. But this sad occurrence is followed by another happy event: Kawase gives birth to a son. (San Sebastian International Film Festival)
