Tom Dobbs is de host van een late night talkshow op de televisie. Tijdens zijn show maakt hij grappen over onderwerpen uit de wereld en de politiek. Als grap besluit Dobbs zich verkiesbaar te stellen voor het presidentschap. Dobbs wint uiteindelijk de verkiezingen, maar weet niet dat dit komt doordat er met de computer is gerommeld. Robin Williams is absolutely brilliant in this film, and it also deals with quite interesting and serious subject matter. I must say that I really enjoyed it. The way the ending was portrayed may be excessively moralistic, but I think it's a shame that this film went somewhat unnoticed. It's not a masterpiece, but some of the ideas presented here are really worth it. However, it's a bit sad that what stands out the most are Robin Williams' stand-up performances, which are truly great. Did I mention that before? Well, he really is.
