Zolang Yasmin, Jade, Sasha en Cloe zich kunnen herinneren zijn ze al BFF (Best Friends Forever). Ze hebben nooit ergens ruzie over, maar dit verandert op hun nieuwe middelbare school. De dochter van het schoolhoofd is namelijk bang dat de Bratz populairder worden dan zij, dus zorgt ze ervoor dat de vier meiden zich verspreiden over verschillende groepjes op het schoolplein. De groepjes drijven de Bratz steeds verder uit elkaar, totdat de hartsvriendinnen zich realiseren dat hun vriendschap in gevaar is. 8th Bratz movie. Bratz changed the toy industry after 2000. MGA succeeded with them so much that Mattel had to think about a new strategy, resulting in the competing Jammin' in Jamaica. The movie is just the tip of the iceberg of the whole phenomenon, which of course makes no sense to evaluate if you do not know the background and do not realize that you are watching a film derived from a toy line. The animated movie Starrin' & Stylin' or the series Bratz will probably not be confused by anyone.
