Karl Kinski is a tattoo artist who is commisioned to paint fake tattoos on a model named Maddy for an ad campaign. But when the mentally unbalanced Karl becomes obsessed with Maddy he kidnaps her, holding her captive and tattooing her body with his designs as if she were a canvas.
