Samenvattingen(1)

The film tells the story of David Holzman, a young man infatuated with film and film-making. Newly unemployed and beset with doubts and worries, Holzman thinks that filming his everyday existence will 'bring life into focus'. Staged to seem like a documentary of a real person's life, Holzman's filming of his life starts to take over his life. (officiële tekst van distribiteur)

Engels I appreciate the film for how it plays with reality and shows what film actually is and what its reality or pseudo-reality is. It's all actually one big game, where reality gets blurred and it's not clear what is true and what is just a film, especially when you realize that through the camera lens, nothing is true, everything is its own distinctive world. Only the presentation is simply boring. ()
