Drie show-girls - twee travestieten en één transseksueel - uit Sydney zijn het leven in de grote stad beu. I was blown away by this film. The characters here are so well acted and don't come off as caricatures at all - well, okay, Guy Pearce does at times - that it's easy to connect with them. It's really just a road movie, but it's visually and musically beautiful, plus it tries to tell a story, which is equally important. I was worried for nothing.
