Samenvattingen(1)

Engels It would probably be fair to give one less star because the first one was really better. On the other hand, this isn't just a 4-star movie for me. The Christmas atmosphere in New York is so nice and puts you in your seat. Kevin has always been and will always be my hero and those two jerks make me laugh every time. The "copied stuff" doesn't bother me in this case. ()

Engels This is my earliest cinematic experience along with the first Ninja Turtles and The Flintstones feature films, and you can’t take that away from me. :) Especially when it's so much fun years later. "Merry Christmas, ya filthy animal. And a Happy New Year." Angels with Dirty Faces = Angels with Even Filthier Souls. ()

Engels This film has only one problem. And that is that it is the second part. Screenwriter John Hughes and director Chris Columbus repeated their collaboration with the only change being that they sent Kevin to New York. Otherwise, the plot is completely the same, there are recurring elements that give you the right feeling that this is something you know and want to come back to, but there are too many connecting elements and they simply come off as copies. Still better than what followed in this series though. The film still has the right Christmas magic, Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern are still excellent, and it is precisely because you liked the first film that you will watch the second one. It is still fun.
