Wanneer Creighton Tolliver bij kapper Ed Crane langs komt om geknipt te worden, vertelt hij Ed over een zakendeal. Hij wil de markt van de toekomst opgaan: die van stomerijen. Hij komt echter 10.000 dollar te kort om de deal rond te maken. Geïnteresseerd zegt Ed dat hij het geld binnen een week zal hebben. Hij heeft een plan om aan het geld te komen: hij besluit "Big Dave" te chanteren met zijn overspel. Aanvankelijk lijkt het plan te lukken, totdat Big Dave doorkrijgt wie hem chanteert...
