Sergeant Todd is a veteran soldier for the United States armed forces. After being defeated by a new breed of genetically engineered soldiers, he is dumped on a waste planet and left for dead. He soon interacts with a group of crash survivors who lead out a peaceful existence on the planet. I don't even know what that was supposed to be. An attempt to cash in on Kurt Russell's popularity? Or the popularity of science fiction? To make a big movie that's actually very small? I really don't know, because it ultimately fails and this "big movie" is much less entertaining than, say, Universal Soldier, which has a similar premise.
