When Mustafe’s uncle tells him a Chinese company wants to buy the family’s real estate in Somaliland in order to extract gold and copper, Mustafe decides to do it himself. He moves his family from Finland to his native country to start mining, leaving his daughters to try to find their place in a society that is completely foreign to them.
