Adrenaline is a trip to a juvenile detention center in Saltillo. The stories are told on two planes: one fictional (written by the boys themselves) and the other testimonial. Contrasting narratives illustrate the different contexts, both playful and cruel, in the teenagers’ lives. Adrenaline seeks to take a humanized look at the origins of violence in Mexico without turning a blind eye to individual responsibility. (Morelia International Film Festival)
