The sequel to the original Josephine with Christine Schuberth actually featured the former idol of First Republic films Rolf Wanka (fortunately in the role of an elderly doctor)... I have nothing against the Mutzenbacher phenomenon, but for Wanka, it was one of the many proverbial nails in the coffin of a declining career.
