A son watches some old men sitting around and remembers his father: his active nature, his house building, his work at Maggi, riding bikes, the rope bridge over the pond and his cancer. Evocative photographs, Super-8 footage and the son’s voice again and again… Incredibly moving but also surprisingly light. Nothing was in vain. (DOK.fest München)
