De jonge Vincenzo Cortino, zoon van een Siciliaanse postbode, bezorgt een pakketje voor zijn vader en ziet per ongeluk iets dat hij niet had mogen zien. Hij wordt de stad uit gesmokkeld en probeert een schip naar Amerika te bereiken. Daar aangekomen weet Vincenzo zich op te werken naar de top van de Mafia. Another wacky and self-indulgent parody, this time focusing on famous mafia gems mostly by Coppola and Scorsese. Although my review may not make it look so, I had a very good time. Most of the jokes and references were really good, but they were part of a completely chaotic script that turned into short sketches and parodies of famous scenes rather than a meaningful story. And since Abrahams is also behind gems like The Naked Gun and Hot Shots, I'm not going to forgive him and I will keep the fourth star for myself. 70%

A decent parody of The Godfather. Some of the gags are really good in places, sometimes it's average and sometimes it's weak. Anyway, it's more of a not-quite-famous affair that falls short of classic parodies like Hot Shots, although it does make a noticeable effort at times.
